What’s going well in your life?
What isn’t?
What if I told you you had the power to shift that and make it all go exactly as you wish? 💫
Wouldn’t that be EPIC!?
Well babe, what I’m talking about is real deal do-able!
I’m going to teach you how to craft your most incredible life, starting with your ideal days, which begin with your perfect mornings.
“Let’s take it from the top” - in dance terms, that’s the beginning.
The beginning - as in when you wake up in the morning bright eyed and bushy tailed springing out of bed to take on your day. 🐰
Or, perhaps you’re having to roll yourself out of bed until you hit the floor in an effort to wake up a bit more before schlepping yourself to the bathroom with one eye open and the other desperately clinging to the dreamy dude you were talking to in your sleep, then finally zombie-ing your way into the kitchen to rendezvous with your BFF (the coffee machine).
What I’m going to show you will make mornings more desirable, meaning you’ll actually want to get up (No joke! Take it from someone who previously couldn’t function if I woke up before noon, but now I’m happily converted to a “morning person”.)
And if you’re like: “But I can’t get up any earlier”, “I didn’t get enough sleep”, “I suck at being consistent with anything”, “My dog won’t let me”, or whatever else you can think up, RELAX.
You can make positive, life altering changes in just 6 minutes! ⏰
Of course you’re welcome to do more, but since you’re busy AF getting your life on, I’m going to make it real easy for you!
Give yourself 6 minutes and get ready for rockstar results! 🤘
Set a timer for each of these 6 morning rituals so you’re giving each one at least 1 minute of your time. The idea is to create a simple morning practice or ritual that feels good and you’ll actually want to stick with, therefore you WILL stick with ;P
Here’s how it all breaks down:
Silence/Meditation
Get your stillness on! This is quite possibly the most challenging, but seriously one of the most important.
Take a minute to close your eyes and focus on your breath. Try to clear your mind. As thoughts of what happened to the cast of Will & Grace and where are they now, or whatever other randoms creep in there - let them go.
If you’re like me, you’ll find this especially challenging… "You want me to think about...nothing? OOF - tell that to my squirrel brain that works nonstop overtime!”
But as with anything, meditation takes practice, meaning it won’t always be perfect. Just start and stick with it. You’ll be glad you did. 😊

Visualization
This part is fun - especially because the sky is the limit! 🌙
What does your perfect day look like?
What about your month?
Where do you wanna be in 1 year?
10 years?
See it. Feel it. Own it. 🔮
And BOOM, watch as you start believing and manifesting that ish!
Exercise (Dance party)
Hard fact: movement = energy ⚡️
So, when you move, you create energy which wakes you up, energizes you, relieves stress, makes you happier and so much more!
Whether you’re into P90x or just trying to get your steps to be higher than your daily caloric intake, movement matters!
Plus, you’re only committing to 1 minute, so no excuses to bail here!
And if you’re looking for something fun to do that doesn’t feel like working out, may I suggest my favorite: Dancing!
Put on your favorite tune and bust out your sweetest moves. No judgement, no worries, all FUN!
This is a great way to get those steps in!
In just 1 minute of dancing I’ve gotten in 1 mile of steps ~ YOU HEARD THAT RIGHT!
Bonus: Put on your Apple Watch, Pedometer, or start your step tracking app and watch your mind be blown!
Affirmations
The time has come to be nice to yourself. 💓
WHY? Because you have the power to create your reality with your thoughts.
Here’s what to do:
Start a list of mean things you say or think about yourself.
After you write them down, reframe and rewrite them into something that will help you grow
These rewrites become your new affirmations!
Here’s an example:
Mean thing: “I’m fat and disgusting.”
Rewrite & Affirmation: “My body is a machine and I’m the architect!”
Adding a daily practice of even just 1 minute of reciting your affirmations can drastically impact your life. 🥰
Say them, feel them, believe them. Even if it feels hard at first, stick with it and wait for the magic!
Write
I never felt like I was much for writing based on the painstakingly long novels and essays I was forced to write for school.
What I later figured out, however, was that when I put pen to paper (or fingers to keyboard in this case) and let it flow, I felt surprisingly good about what came out and realized that not only could I entertain myself but that others would enjoy my sophisticated rambling (backed by lots of education and experience, of course!)
And tadaaaa, the MyMovementality blog was born!
I was surprised, and perhaps you will be too once you try it.
Regardless of whether you’re writing books, blogs, or about how you had a fight with your cat, writing is good for your soul. 💆🏻♀️
Give yourself 1 minute to free write. If you’re having a hard time with the free writing thing and can’t seem to think of what to write about, practicing gratitude is helpful.
You can use the prompt:
“I am grateful for ____________________”
I’ve really been enjoying this planner/journal combo that I write in every morning and night. What I like about it is that it prompts me to think about things on a deeper level (which is much appreciated on mornings when I have a hard time waking up).
Read
If you’re a busy body, you may find yourself saying what I used to say all the time, “I don’t have time to read.”
I realize now how silly that sounds. Granted, I don’t have a ton of time I block out at once to read, but if I read for even 1 minute a day, I feel better, I’m learning more, and I’m becoming a better human.
What should you read?
Whatever floats your boat, really. But my advice:
DON’T ❌
Read the news
Read your emails
Read your social media, texts, phone, etc…
DO ✅
Read educational articles that interest you
Books that inspire you
Magazines that make you wanna be a better person, etc…
You get my drift.
If you’re looking for a good read, allow me to suggest my favorite book (and the one that got me started on my journey to greatness). Check it out here >>
There you have it: A 6 minute morning practice that will set you up for the most kick ass day, every day! 🌈
You’ll begin to get a feel for what flow works for you and in what order these fit your morning best.
Remember, start small. 6 minutes is pretty small, but if you’re completely new to this concept it can feel like a lot. So do what you can (even if it’s not all 6).
The point is that you take action and do SOMETHING. And once you do each of these, be sure to CELEBRATE yourself for making it happen! 🙌
Cheers to you for investing in yourself and your most amazing life, baby! 🥂
